Next Stop: Korea

During spring break our senior year of college, two friends and I roadtripped from Providence to Miami, hopped on a cruise ship and meandered our way around the Caribbean for a few days before roadtripping back to Rhode Island to finish our final semester of undergrad. While browsing around Cozumel, Yoori decided she needed some air conditioning and a Diet Coke. The result was my favorite picture from the trip, and maybe ever.

Seven years have passed since that trip, and I'm pretty excited because we have another adventure coming up soon... Miss Yoori's wedding in a few short months! Tickets have been purchased, dresses are ordered, and I'm headed to Korea for the big day in June. I'm nervous about leaving Johnnie for a week (and all that that entails), but I will have this vivacious girl for a travel companion:

And we are so excited to be there for our friend when she dons her gorgeous dress and marries her beau. Great memories behind, great memories ahead. More cheesy photos to be taken!

    1. Wonderful idea!! Plus it can be a lot less work to have a destination wedding -- the venue gives you your choices, you make your selections, DONE. That's the way to do it! Less headaches, more vacation!

Are you referring to your slightly boy-crazy little sister, or a different one?

  2. YES! I'm trying to finish up a presentation for a noon meeting and was feeling crappy and this procrastination post has brightened everything up! A new adventure (and updated pics!) awaits us!

PS -- I like being described as Vicacious! haha

    1. Well that is how you described yourself during the Orientation Week icebreakers. Vivacious Veronica and Nasty Nick are the only two I still remember. Of course Yoori was a no-show!

  3. Of course I'm excited for you and your upcoming trip, but I'm a little upset that Yoori did not plan around my schedule. So sad to miss you on my next trip to MD. Guess this past weekend of seeing you for a few hours will have to hold me over until I my next journey to ole Carroll County.
